Apac Realty Proposes 1 5 Bonus Issues Celebrates Eight Years Listing Mainboard

APAC Realty has announced its intention to reward shareholders by proposing a 1-for-5 bonus issue of new ordinary shares in celebration of its eighth year of listing on the SGX Mainboard. The proposal, subject to approval, will entitle shareholders to receive one fully paid bonus share for every five ordinary shares held, according to APAC Realty.

The proposed bonus issue will increase the number of issued shares which will in turn enhance the trading liquidity of the company’s shares, says APAC Realty. If the bonus issue application to the SGX-ST is submitted on September 8, the lowest daily weighted average price of the shares in the preceding month would be 62.68 cents and the theoretical ex-bonus price would be 52.23 cents accordingly.

APAC Realty credits its decision to announce this bonus issue to its recent strong set of 1HFY2025 results. The group saw a 28.8% year-on-year increase in revenue, amounting to $341.5 million, driven by a surge in brokerage income from new home sales. This has also led to a doubling of its earnings to $11.3 million, attributed to higher transaction volumes in the residential market.
