Hilton and Ayala Land Hospitality have recently announced the upcoming opening of Canopy by Hilton Makati, marking the brand’s first property in the Philippines. The 24-storey hotel, situated next to the One Ayala development in Makati, is set to welcome guests next year.
The hotel, comprising of 400 rooms and suites, aims to provide a unique and personalized experience for its guests. The amenities at Canopy by Hilton Makati include a destination restaurant, a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city skyline, and a hidden speakeasy. Guests will also have access to a pool deck, a fully-equipped gym with group classes, and meeting spaces perfect for hosting weddings and other celebrations.
Maria Ariizumi, vice president of development in South East Asia at Hilton, stated that “Metro Manila is ready for a fresh take on hospitality, and we are confident that Canopy’s lifestyle concept will appeal to both local and international guests.” Canopy by Hilton Makati will join over 40 properties in 14 countries and territories under Hilton’s Canopy portfolio, with more than 40 properties currently in the works.
