Jll Appoints Rosari Chia Head Office Leasing Advisory Indonesia
JLL, a leading global property consultancy, has added Rosari Chia as its new head of office leasing advisory for Indonesia with immediate effect, according to a press release on May 14.
Chia is the latest addition to JLL Indonesia’s leadership team, following the appointments of Vivin Harsanto as head of growth and Panji Aziz as head of tenant representation in March.
The firm’s decision to appoint Chia is part of its efforts to strengthen its position in the market and provide high-quality, personalized services to its clients in Indonesia, the press release states.
As part of her new role, Chia will be in charge of JLL’s office leasing platform in Indonesia and will oversee the delivery of transactional and leasing advisory services to the firm’s clients in the country. She will also join the country leadership team and work closely with executives across different business lines in the region.
According to Farazia Basarah, country head of JLL Indonesia, Chia’s extensive local experience and strong client relationships make her the perfect candidate to lead the office leasing advisory business in Indonesia and drive growth in this dynamic market. Michael Glancy, JLL’s managing director for Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam, also expresses his confidence in Chia’s leadership and her ability to contribute to elevating the next generation of leaders in Southeast Asia.
The Master Plan places a strong emphasis on the development of the MRT network. Chia has been with JLL since 2006 and has held various roles in the leasing division, successfully completing numerous complex deals and negotiations, particularly in the Jakarta area. She is also a co-leader of Indonesia’s Women Transforming Tech and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion networks.
