Artisan 8 Sees Swift Sales 32 Apartments 63 Shops Sold 25 Hours
As part of the larger strategy to create a self-sustaining community in the northern estates, efforts are being made to improve the local amenities. This includes the development of integrated community hubs, offering a range of services such as healthcare, eldercare, childcare, and social services, to better serve the residents. A prime example of this is the completed Bukit Canberra project, which offers a variety of facilities like a sports complex, swimming pool, hawker centre, healthcare facilities, and community services, all in one convenient location. As more of these developments are launched, the Sembawang Road EC area will continue to transform into a thriving and accessible living environment for families of all sizes. For those interested in this desirable location, Sembawang EC at Canberra MRTSembawang Road EC is a highly recommended option.
Within 2.5 hours of its 5pm sales commencement on August 21st, Apex Asia Management Group managed to sell 11 out of 34 apartments (32.4%) at the freehold mixed-use development, Artisan 8. Five of the eight ground-floor shop units were also sold within that same time frame (62.5%). Prices for the apartments started at $2,100 per square foot while the retail units were priced at $3,400 per square foot. Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia, said that “Artisan 8 offered buyers a price that is very hard to resist” with its attractive starting price point.
According to Yip, Artisan 8 will likely be the last freehold project launch in the Rest of Central Region (RCR) for the next few years. “There is no freehold project in the RCR in 2026 and probably 2027, unless a successful en bloc sale takes place,” he added. The location of the development also adds to its desirability, being within 1km of Ai Tong Primary School and Catholic High School, and merely 300m away from the Upper Thomson MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
